I am one of the unlucky few that got pelted by hail every day out there. The one time it split my upper lip in one place my lower in 2 spots. I would vote for a lid with face protection.

Still had a blast and would like to go back. State is too big on a tight time line.

 

Yes sir. My fiance and i both wear full face helmets. I really hope the weather is nice for the trip.

 

It will be hot, it will be very cold, and everywhere in between. Just depends where you are and how high or low. It will almost certainly rain and hail during that period. How much is the question. I'm sure the locals will step in shortly. They were very helpful with my trip.
