Before you get to Ashland there is the town of Ironwood which is the home of copper peak ski flying hill. There are tours through out the week with an elevator ride most of the way up. As the people I have traveled it say WILL BE THE HIGH LITE OF YOUR DAY

Thanks for a lot of input guys. Plan on stopping at the Harley Museum and than going north to Door County. Last year I got over there and rained so I never was able to do this. I went to Lambeu Field and Docs last year and that is something to see. From Shawano I was thinking of heading north because this was a scenic road? I have ridden both sides of the Mississippi River so I have been to all of those little town, but enjoy every time I go through them. I always like to stop at Prescott.
