NJ to Marietta, OH - Long Weekend...

We made better time on our return ride (10 hours vs. 11), despite having to get the rain-gear out for a 45 minute stretch. Just over 1,500 miles in the five days.
We've learned a few things from this experience that we'll apply going forward, such as:
Miles and miles of smiles!
We've learned a few things from this experience that we'll apply going forward, such as:
- 500 miles a day is just about too much for my wife; we'll likely limit our future 2-up rides to no more than 400 miles a day
- We THOROUGHLY enjoyed traveling as a small group (2 bikes / 4 personalities); made it easy to find common ground and enjoy ourselves - no stress / no drama
- Chocolates don't travel well in a saddlebag on a summer day.
- Noise-cancelling earbuds or hearing-protection will be a must for our next trip; our bodies held up well but the "noise fatigue" is real
- The Ultra Classic seat and the Pro-Action shocks made for a very comfortable ride - night and day difference
Miles and miles of smiles!
Do your ears stay bent down after 500 miles?
