Leaving out of Columbus, OH on Thursday the 1st. We usually leave on Friday, but we're both George Thorogood fans, and he's playing at the Chip on Saturday night.

LOL....yep, similar story here. Made most Sturgis’s since
‘85 but sold the fancy tent I thought I’d use this year. Moteled it in Custer last year, good location. This year I’ll figure something out since I’ll arrive a touch early and head out that first weekend. Like others I try to make a good ride out of it there and back. Ride safe everyone.

We will be there a week early coming from Mid Missouri. Bringing my fatboy.

Plan on spending a few days in Yellowstone after Sturgis this year and do Chief Joseph Hwy and Beartooth pass. Coming back home through Colorado, spending a couple days in the Loveland area.

 

I'd like to catch the tail end of it, heading into Colorado ten days later and haven't quite figured out what to do in between other than going up to Glacier National Park then maybe moseying back down through Oregon into Durango? then into final destination.

Will be arriving on Wednesday July 31. Riding new 2019 Road King and camping at Glencoe. 17th year in a row from Nebraska.
