hey Rainy
We lost signal a bunch. Several stops had weak or no service. It was noticeable up high as well. We were also using the paper guide map the park service puts out
My Garmin Zumo xt was our main unit. Preplanned side trips were in it.
We stopped on the detour twice and couldn't get good map signal on the phones to really figure where we were going. A chat with a local helped me get oriented.
I checked websites but did not see the detour when I was planning before we left
I did laugh at the longer tunnels making my garmin speed readings go crazy
