Who's going to Sturgis check in here
 

Hey guys, looking to see who's going to Sturgis and to see if anyone rented a house and need another couple to fill a room. Just called the local hotels and they want 400 a night! Ouch!!

Have we met yet? Have we at least ridden together?
Sure I might have rented a 3 bedroom house for two weeks, but my friend and I might not want you around our wives....:icon_playingball:

Check the hotels further out, like Rapid City.

First off, I'm bringing my own wife. Second off, I didn't mean to offend anyone or their wives but a simple no would do!

Cant wait to go. camping as usual. Much cheaper than the hotels and some of the campgrounds are very nice with buses to bring you downtown. Full Throttle is our place of choice. Good luck finding a place, also check the sturgis web site here Look under Travel and Lodging and then Private Housing as a start...

To answer your question, I am going, but tenting it at one of the multiple campgrounds. Went last year for the first time and won't ever miss it. Good luck on finding a room for less. Rapid is a good place to start looking though.

Nothing here is simple.

Been going for 16 years straight. Use to camp when we took the kids but for the last 11 years have been staying at what is now Americas Best Value Inn in Rapid right off the Haines Ave exit. Pay $189.00 a night. Nice freindly people and they always have rooms. If interested talk to Reva and tell her Dennis and Kathy sent you.

I always stay outside of Sturgis, stayed in Hill City, had a cabin with Direct TV and wireless computer, 850 for 7 nights, it was a good deal. I camped out with the active duty Army for 23 years, so no more of that Sh_t for me.
