Psychiatrist could learn a lot from this thread, heck a case study is more like it.

I don't ever remember hearing about iron butt anything before getting onto forums. My non check in/check in is; I went from Sturgis to East Meadow, NY (middle of long island) in 2 days. I left 10am on day 1 and rode 801 miles, day 2 left around 8am arriving at home 1:00am 962 miles. Oh well.

Just returned from 9000 mile journey to the northwest. Did a Saddlesore to Minneapolis, Mn. to watch the start of the Iron Butt rally, then did a Saddlesore Montana.

I'm tuning up for the IBA 50 cc from San Diego, CA to Jacksonville, FL starting on 5 August. I left Elmira, MI Sunday morning at 0730 and stopped for some sleep on the west side of Tulsa that night. 1,012 miles. Finished my ride in Clarkdale, AZ Monday night, another 1023 miles. The second day met several rain storms.

Chris, that's awesome! Great accomplishment! How many miles you got on that beast now? You must be at 200k!

How do you create a map like this? I am going to do a 1000/24hr trip soon. Thanks. (Remember to turn the other cheek)!

They are both from using Spotwalla.com as my tracking page. Tracks are from SPOT satellite trackers.
