Port Dover, Fri. 13th room available
 

On Thursday, July 12th I am leading a group of 21 people on 15 bikes from Western Reserve Harley Davidson in Mentor, Ohio to Port Dover, Ontario, Canada for the Friday 13th Rally. :icon_lol: That's the good part.

If anyone needs a room for the rally on Thurs., July 12th and Fri., July 13, I have one room with a queen bed available due to an un-forseen circumstance. One of our group suffered a back injury and can't ride or drive due to doctor's orders and it is past the deadline to cancel the room. :icon_sad: That's the not-so-good part.

I've been to the Port Dover Friday the 13th rally. It is a blast, but I would advise that on the 13th - take a side trip to someplace like Niagara Falls. The traffic into Port Dover on that day is insane. I spent 4 hours bassically duck-walking the bike due to the traffic jam. If you get a chance stop in Brantford and go to Hips Cycles. The owner of the shop is one of the original Friday 13th dudes. He and three buddies went there many years ago on a Friday the 13th and were sitting in a bar and decided to go every Friday the 13th. It has grown substantially since that original ride.
