Riding from SoCal to Colorado tomorrow & need some help finding a cheap but clean flop house in the Williams/Flagstaff area. Motorcycle friendly & safe as I don't know the area at all. Thanks!

 

They got snow in Flagstaff this past weekend. Just a heads up.

 

Here's a link to listings of 29 hotels in Williams. I've stayed in the Day's Inn twice and it's biker
friendly and OK enough. Williams is a small enough town that being on the edge doesn't matter
very much.

COPS ARE VERY AGGRESSIVE IN WILLIAMS. Don't speed or make illegal turns as tempting as
it may be.

Thanks guys! I'm going to push for Flagstaff. Seems to be several cheap hotels on hotels.com.

Yeah, I rode through it on my way out.

 

I stayed this past summer in the Holiday Inn in Williams. Very motorcycle friendly and a restaurant/bar attached to it. Prices in the area should be reasonable as it is off season.

 

There's also a motel in Bellemont, about 10 miles west of Flag on I-40. Not much there, so if you want dining choices, Williams or Flag are better bets.
