Thinking of taking the Tri Glide to Oklahoma over the Christmas vacation. Any cautions or tips? Thanks!!

 

Heated gear and plan on crappy weather. Average high-50 average low-30

 

Hard to say. December could be mild or cold. Last year it was unseasonably warm in Oklahoma and I rode all winter. It is supposed to be in the low 70's Thanksgiving week in Tulsa. Hope the nice weather holds through Christmas and beyond.

In the past I can remember riding on Christmas day with a light jacket and other times being snowed in.

 

Come across 60 thru southern MO. It's 4-lane 90% of the way and is good road. No need to go north thru St. Louis just to take the super slab.

Thanks! May or may not try it this year. Much more motivated to visit far away relatives now that we have the motorcycles!
