Default Cherohala Skyway

We moved from Florida to Tennessee for a myriad of reasons but on top of my list were the roads. So Saturday my wife says, "let's get on the bike and I really do not want to drive so let's two-up it somewhere, you pick".

There is just so much amazing scenery here! I thought the Dragon would be my favorite but this wins hands down!!

Same here in NC (and western Va.) So many excellent roads to run within an hour and a half from the house that I haven't even bothered to schedule a run to the Dragon.

Thanks for the pics!

Welcome to Knoxville! The Cherohola is my favorite road in the area. I much prefer it over the Dragon. I see you found Bald River Falls too. Beautiful riding roads here.

Did you get wet today? I rode mine back from the dealership in Maryville (10K mile service) around 11:00 this morning and got wet when I made it to West Knox. We've had almost 3 inches of rain at my house since Noon today. Soggy!

Unless you are an independently wealthy attractive female nymphomaniac with amnesia and an attraction to overweight men in their 50's, probably not. I'll need recent pics with your application.

The cherohala is a nice piece of road.
Did you notice the squirrel crossing poles? seems like they leap across.
About the only place in the mountains that i did not see suicide squirrels.
Also the falls make for a nice stop.
A stop at Tellico Kats for a bite in the small back porch is nice along with a visit at the HD t-shirt store nearby.

Nice pics. Definitely my favorite road as well and would be my "go to" place for riding if I lived near there.
