Bridal Veil falls NC
Firewoman this is the link to that water fall, There are others right in the area along the road. The ride over to it is not far from Deals Gap aka Dragon.
The Road is a beautiful ride with a lot of short curves.
I am sure some member's that live in the area can add to this.

Don't know about better ,but different. Each part of the country has something to offer. Area around Deals Gap is some amazing riding. Welcoming environment and not overly priced. It is also a lot closer that CO.
And TN and NC are not taking your 2nd amendment rights away.
I have enjoyed some great rides in CO. but that was back a few years.

We were just up in that area last weekend with the Vette club.
It is a beautiful area.
From the ATL area we took 400 north then onto Hwy 60. Long two lane road with nice curves. Then, the Dragon. Then, we took Hwy 28 from Deals Gap to Franklin where we overnighted. The next day we took Hwy 64 from Franklin to Highlands, NC. We stopped at two waterfalls and rode by Bridal Veil due to too many cars in our group. Dry Falls was very nice.
Have a great trip when you get to go.
HWY 60 into NC.

I think this is Lower Cullasaja Falls.
Dry Falls.
Good parking.
Easy to get to (pathway / stairs).
You can walk behind the falls.

For the past three years my wife and I have been compiling lists of the best roads, attractions, and restaurants in the area. Take a look here to start:

We did a ride there and put about 3K on in the area.
Had so much fun we went back a second year and did 4k.
We seldom go to the same area twice in a row.
Almost planned to go back next May but we came up with other plans.
Will be returning just to much to see there.
