Rockford recommends using the flash for 2 speakers front fairing, 1 amp.

You can run up to 8 speakers on the TM400x4AD amp that is included in our HD14-TKIT as long as they are 4 ohm speakers, which ours HD speakers are. The flash we recommend is a custom flash when you choose Rockford Fosgate from the drop down box where it says select manufacturer in the audio section of the Techno Research Tuner.

Installed the front speaker and amp kit plus the rear bag kit. I have the Sony headunit instead of the HD one. Do you have any recommendations on amp settings? Should I just go with the setting recommended in the videos?

I would suggest calling in to the tech support team, the videos have the recommendations based on the output of the HD radio, this may differ from what the level of clean signal that Sony is putting out.

Put the HD 14 TKIT in my 2018 Street-glide last August. Was in the middle of a 3,000 mile trip when the left speaker started cutting out. When restarting the bike it sometimes works fine, sometimes just crackles, and sometimes I hear a beep and then it starts working again.

Any ideas what the issue might be?

Hoping I didn’t blow the speaker!

Are you running an AMP? In my past experiences, no professional by any means here, but cutting in and out were due to issues with the AMP. Crackling can also be due to AMP issues, or maybe trace all the wiring to the speaker to make sure everything is clean and not crimped, cut, or loose.

I am running an amp. Appreciate the insight. I’ll start troubleshooting there.

Ok guys! Here´s the next challenge: Living in Germany with obviously a RF-sales branch/rep existing. And given you can buy RF though various retailers here - AND given you can buy the HD14-TKIT here.... How to get my boom flashed in Germany??

(Harley Dealerships are very unlikely to help you given they want to sell Stage II ....)

Any Idea and help welcome!

Rads, Kristian
