2010 Trike Slip-on's
 
Hi
My WIfe has a 2010 HD Trike with the Fuelmoto de-catted headpipe,
Fuelmoto Hi-flow A/C and the Power Commander Vision tuner.
It is still running way to friggin hot when the air temp's are above 80^ F.
I told her the next step is to get free flowing mufflers (she is running the
stock ones now). She DOES NOT want anything much louder than what
she has now. What do you recommend ?

I just let her ride in front ... LOL ....

I would recommend our slip ons with 1.75" baffles. This is the smallest we offer. They will be louder than stock but not obnoxiously loud. If you crack the throttle they will make some noise but mellow out at highway cruising speeds. This will be louder than stock but most people still find it acceptable for cruising with passengers and radios.
baggles? I'll assume baffles LOL. Have you talked to anyone at Rush about removal tips? Try to slightly warm up the exhaust, or penetrating oil, or using a breaker bar. Please PM me if there is an issue you would like to discuss.

For other members, we offer a Trike True Dual system that is ceramic coated inside and out creating a 300 degree heat reduction on the headpipe. All of our headers are ceramic coated and it really cools things down!

I have not tried the penetrating oil on it yet.
Do you mean like spraying a bunch of WD40 in the pipe ?

WD40 can help but I would try actual penetrating oil. It is designed and mainly used to free rusted bolts but works great on stuck baffles. It takes a few minutes to get in there and do it's work. If that doesn't help then try warming up the exhaust.
Most forum members state the best trick is to slightly warm up the exhaust. Just make sure it is only slightly warm, don't want to burn yourself or get oily hands on hot chrome. Please let me know if that doesn't help.
