Default Ever Drop Your Ultra Limited?

Looking at my 2015 Ultra Limited it appears that any drop will FU the lower fairings. Experienced comments would be appreciated. I weigh 150 and it's just a matter of time.

I scuffed up my 2015 CVO Limited and it cost me $1250 for a new saddlebag. No one can match the "special" paint!!!! So, I bought a whole new bag rather than running around with a scuffed up saddlebag. I may wind up putting on some bag guards so it doesn't happen again.

I've been riding for over 35 years and this is the first time I have ever dinged a bike. Leave it to me to wait until I have a $40K motorcycle to do it.....

You may want to trade down to something along these lines.

If "when" ever does come.

Joe at Extreme Dimension Painting. He does some sick work.
He specializes in CVOs, and truly is probably the best!

Default Yes, I have dropped mine

A few months ago I dropped my Ultra, but at zero speed. I was doing a PGR mission, parked it at the cemetery and just got off the bike without putting the kickstand down... I know, dumbass... I felt stupid ... believe me. But the bike rolled onto it's gearshift side, I picked it right back up, and I have yet to find any damage. She rolled onto the crash bar and I have highway pegs that probably prevented the crash bar and saddle bags from getting damaged, and the pegs may have prevented it from rolling over completely..... I was a bit embarassed so I didn't pay attention to how far it fell over, I quickly got it back up so that my buds wouldn't tear me up too badly. It was on asphalt too.

YEP, got the drop issue out of the way! In the garage, came over the lip a bit off I guess. I too, was too eager to get it up to look closely but I do remember the lower fairing and foot pegs were not touching. It appears it was a three point landing on the tires and the saddlebag rails. Having another inch taken out of the seat and tapering the front a bit.

Dropped a rental at a stop, went right on the engine and saddlebag guard, wheels off the ground. Only damage was a small nick on the edge of the right lower, and my ego. Dealer never noticed it when I returned it.
