Hey everyone:

I bought a 2016 CVO Limited back in September and have recently noticed that the metal grill on my tour speakers is starting to flake off. I ride two up almost exclusively, however, I've never ran into this issue before and we've owned other bikes where we were two up throughout the life of the bike and never ran into this issue with the flaking.

My question is is this worth bringing up to service for warranty? I'm probably being nitpicky but when you purchase a CVO I wouldn't think something like this should be happening so quickly.

YES!

You have a 2 year "anything goes" factory warranty. Take advantage of it while you can.

Appreciate the feedback yellowbird. I will be taking it over to be looked at and see what they say. Sure hope they take care of it.

 

Had this happen on my '15 and the dealer replaced the grill no problem. Started doing it again in the same spot. We discovered it is real close to where my wife was wearing the spare key on her beltloop with a key chain. She moved where she keeps the spare key and it doesn't seem to be getting any worse.

 

I have a 14 CVO Limited.
Just noticed this weekend that I have the same thing. For 40k I think I will take it back and let em look.

 

Hey guys. There's 3 of us that have this so far. Which side is yours on? Mine is on the left (clutch) side.

 

Mine happened more on the left side but there was some also on the right side. They are replacing mine no questions asked after I showed it to them.
