Need advice for a painter that can match my CVO PAINT
I have a 2007 CVO Road King (Black) and I would like to buy a fairing and have it matched to the stock black / silver flame CVO paint job. Has anyone done this, or have had hardbags done in the past for their CVO and was happy with the result? Would appreciate some painter suggestions.

CVO paint is from House Of Kolor. The rest is PPG I believe. The 06 CVO color was Black Cherry and had red sparkles in the sun. Not sure of the black for 07. I had an 07 CVO but it was Lightning Blue. My friend had the Black Cherry. It took the dealer 10 weeks to get my paint when I had a crash. Check out House Of Kolor I to see if it is available under a different name

He does give CVOHARLEY Forum members 10% off work. Code (4CVO)
I personally have not needed any work done, but have seen his work, SIMPLY AWESOME!

He painted my tour pak to match the new scooter. From a distance it looks good. But up close when you look at the Indigo Ink dk blue at an angle so the metal flake doesnt show and you just see the solid color, the bike it shows up as a deep purple. On the repainted TP, it shows up as black.
With you being the black and silver, you may have better results

OP, with the multi layered base to top coat, metal flake applications on most all HD these days it take a craftsman with experience and a good eye for satisfactory results.
You may have some one in your area that could complete the job. I checked with my local HD dealer as to who they used for touch up on new rides, CVOs included. They use a local shop that proved to be excellent in my tour pack color match with a pearl color. Turns out the guy does custom work and has for years. I found with him the visual taken from another panel was his best marker for the best color match.
Good luck.
