Trading a bike in for a small increase in displacement makes zero sense to me.

why buy the bike in the first place if it meant so little to
you? Seriously.
You could ride the right shovel and fall In love. Has nothing to do with the technology or having the latest and greatest. Harley's / bikes are the only thing in the world that I have found this applies to.

Im going to finally upgrade my Night Train to a CVO Prostreet only because the bike speaks to me. Give a **** what engine they tossed in it. (Except for sportster trash, that's for girls)

Actually, the sportster evo motors are one of the most reliable motors.

Keep your Rig and get some crank work done from Dark Horse, change lifters, valve springs and get custom made Pistons from "Suburban Speed" and you will have awesome 124" motor and save a chit load of $$$$!!!!

I traded my 17 CVO street glide with 20,526 miles on it for my 2018 CVO Road Glide.

I did not trade for the bigger engine, as it doesn't feel much stronger if any than the 114.

I traded because I wanted back on a Road Glide. I am on my 4th CVO road glide now, that was my one and only street glide. I also really like the 21" front wheel on the road glide.

Very sweet, enjoy your new ride Dave!

This week I too traded up from my 17 CVO SG to the 18 CVO Limited. Got it in the Burgundy Cherry Sunglo Fade. I didn't do it either for the 117 and agree the 117 doesn't feel any different than my 114. That in mind I find it odd there is no stage 2 cam for these 117's. But like you said, there is still plenty of torque and power.

I will be doing a complete fullsac exhaust and tune. Maybe in a year I will look for cams.

Congratulations on the new bike. I bet the color is really sharp in the sun

Sounds like you are looking at changing the head pipe and cores. Nice! With a cam i bet it's really going to wake these bikes up!

Your right about the color, wow this bike changes color depending on the weather. It goes from Dark Burgandy in the shade to cherry red in the bright sun. It's awesome, I love it.

Default Keeping the bike.

I've decided to keep the bike and switched out the exhaust to Vance & Hines Power Duals with Tab Performance Slip Ons ( Zombie Baffles ) V&H Fuelpak FP3 Tuner.

As with any bike it definitely feels and sounds more ballsy after removing the catalytic converter and the Fuelpak FP3 was easy to use.

I'm thinking of doing something similar, but with all V&H. Can you give some more info about how the changes are with sound , power , torque ??

Harley has updated the information. Their are two Harley cams for this bike for upgrades, the torque cam and the one for more power at higher RPM used in the stage 4 kit for the 2017 bikes.

I believe that the head pipe should be a big help. A cam would be icing on the cake
