Anyone have any sources for slip-ons for the gloss black mufflers on the new gunship gray CVO RG? Most I've seen are matte or flat, I was wondering if anyone had any options I hadn't found yet.

I guess only heat shields are gloss black on new CVO RG? Why not to use matte with stock gloss heat shields?

 

Just do the Fullsac 2.25 cores

 

The heat shields and muffler bodies are both a high gloss finish. I wouldn’t want to mix matte & gloss.

Muflers are chrome at least on my bike. Only heat shields and end caps are gloss. I am also looking for solution...

 

Masar - are you talking about the Gunship Gray CVO you posted the seat pictures of? Because I’m pretty sure the muffler cans are black.

 

Yes, i have gunship gray, same bike as you. My mufflers are chrome - I double checked. Only heat shields and end caps are black. I mean its invisible unless i look under the heat shields. Maybe european version is different....Attached some pictures.

 

Now don’t I feel stupid...I looked closer and you’re totally correct. But I still think I’m going to just go with the Fullsac cores, see if I can get the sound I’m looking for.

 

Yeah, the chrome is almost invisible.... I am interested in the Fullsac cores. Which size you go for? Please keep me informed about progress.

 

Probably the 2.25 with the packing screens to keep it deep. Need to check around a little more before I decide...
