Has anyone installed Lowers on 2018 CVO Road Glide? Harley says they wont work with 21' wheel, we are thinking change crash bar, install standard fairing mounts, and then install lowers? Thoughts? Many people upgrade to 21' wheel and space fender up t accommodate, wondering if Harley spaced too high and fender will hit lowers?

This was posted today on the CVOHARLEY site.

Yes, you are correct as you have to change to a standard engine guard.

It does look good through with the lowers on!

My dealer will install lowers on Wednesday 6.12. on my 2018 CVO RG. I will also install speakers and additional amp to have same 900 W as SG. Engine guard must be changed for standard + the fairing mounts. Actually we will try the fit before the lowers go for paint. We do not see reason why they should not fit, but better to try before painting.

I will let you know if there is any issue with fitment.

I'm debating doing it on my 18 CVO Road Glide. Just got a list of all the required parts for my Gunship Gray. 1786.00 in parts with my 20% discount.

Not sure if I want them that bad.

I'm in between doing the lowers or else doing the factory 47 kit. Bars, engine guard and bag guards.
If I go with the factory 47 engine guard I'm going to get some soft lowers made up for the longer rides
