Default What comes with the 2018 CVO Limited

I am trading in my 2009 FLHTCUSE4 with 93K miles for a new 2018 FLHTKSE CVO Limited which is scheduled to be delivered to the dealer today or tomorrow. I'm wondering what I need to keep before trading in.

Does the new CVO come with:

Brass Key (not that the old one is useful; just pretty neat)
CVO Bike Cover
Rain Covers for seats
Travel Bags for Tour Kit and Saddle Bags
Garage Door Opener
Tool Kit

Is there anything I should be aware of before I turn my 09 CVO in?

I have a CVO Road Glide so there could be subtle differences but....

No gold key, think that program went away but the FOB is like an automotive type, push buttons & key folds in/out like a switchblade, kind of neat idea I think.

Yes on bike cover.

No rain covers except for air cleaner.

Yes on travel bags.

No on garage door opener.

Yes on tool kit.

Congrats on new bike, enjoy!

Congrats on the new bike
should come with travel bags, garage door opener, tool kit, bike cover
no brass key or rain cover for the seat.

Nothing I know of you should be aware of but my experience is they don’t allow any extra in trade for the items that came with the bike travel bags, cover etc. I always keep those and either sell them or use them on my new bike.

Thanks,

They have already seen my CVO and did not ask about anything not present. The last time I traded a Harley in with all I had, the Salesman kept my GPS and the Mechanics kept my Radar Detector. Not sure about anything else.

On my 09 Trade In I cannot reuse the LoJack or SERT and I have a Whistler Radar Detector in Dash that will stay with a complete back up unit since they don't sell them anymore. I pulled the GPS and they have not questioned the empty mount.

Radar Detector replaced the AIR Gauge

There is not much of a maket here in Bullhead City, AZ. I thought I might get a few bites during the Laughlin River Run but nothing. I listed a Condor Garage Dolly, Inner and outer Fairing and Front Fender for my 2009 CVO. So I doubt I would have any luck selling anything. But I may try again.

Thank you for your response!

Keep what you want. Generally speaking, you aren't getting much of a bump in dealer trade allowance for accessories, even when they were part of the CVO package. You will get everything you asked about and more.

Awesome! It comes with an official CVO beanie! That justifies the $45K!

It does come with a garage door opener. Just be aware, if you start your bike with the headlights on bright, the door may close on you as you are exiting. Found this out the hard way.
