Question 2012 exhaust options

I have a 2012 flhtcuse7 (110) Just went on first big rally and sure it was hot. Very hot for wife by the cat. My friend i was with has a 2011 limited. He had installed by the dealer when new a full V & H header and 3 inch mufflers on it. He then changed it out due to the complaints from the shop of getting the oil fill cap off. I may have chance to buy this set from him at a good price. So.. does this setup have the cat? will it reduce the heat somewhat... I used to have dresser duals on my 2008 with the . 3 inch muffles. I was thinking all i need is the tune if i get a good deal on the pipes. Not sure of the exact style headers with the concern of the oil fill/check stick problem thanks Jeff

I went with the fuelmoto 2/1/2 with ceramic coating.its going to run cooler with the cat removed (v/h should not have no cat)but the 110 is still going going to throw heat.nature of the beast.i read on this forum where some Vance and Hines headers have cracked.your bike, your choice.

With out a doubt, Best bang for the buck would be Fullsac. Proven Performace, Free maps, many, many of CVO owners go this route for a reason

"D" X-Pipe, Fullsac CVO Baffles, (choice of size of baffles) use your original 4" cans, TTS Mastertune Turner.

Do it right the First time.

Exactly right. Its the best option performance wise and cost wise, for the Twin Cam or the M8. Been using his stuff for years!

I'll chime in also. I can't speak for the other option but for me the X-Pipe and 2" cores are a great solution. Nothing else done to the bike for performance and I'm getting 97HP and 111 TQ. 2010 FLHXSE

i went the cheaper route. i have the fullsac sportpipe as i knew i wasn't going to be doing any major engine mods, at least for a long while. and of course, the 2.0 cvo power cores for the mufflers. very happy with the setup.
