Default CVO Road Glide vs Road Glide/Road Glide Special

Greetings,

I I just bought a used 2016 Limited Low with 300 miles on it a few weeks ago, I've replaced the seat and windscreen because I'm a taller rider, the price was had to turn down. Pretty sweet ride, but I'm eventually looking at switching to a Road Glide, I just like the idea of the frame mounted fairing over the handle bar mounted one.

I'm having a difficult time finding out a detailed list of differences between the CVO Road Glide and a Road Glide/Road Glide Special.

The biggest difference I could find is obviously the engine and wheel size.

edit: Also the tour pack speakers, and tire pressure monitor (which is a definite want)
Other than that, I'm trying to justify if I want to upgrade to the CVO or regular Road Glide.

Harley's comparison tool is pretty useless for details.

Any good sources to check out? Google hasn't been overly helpful.

Thank you!

Go on Harley website and pick 3 bikes to compare and their specs will show upside by side.

Unfortunately, as I mentioned, Harley's website is pretty useless.. they don't mention in the comparison as example the locking bags. Heck, if I'm reading this right, you can't even do calls from your phone in these comparison specs below.

Most of the Road Glides you'll find on dealer floors are the same as the RGS except for chrome instead of blacked out. Price will be about the same also. Mine only has the Boom 4.3 and security, no ABS so it was much cheaper. I did not want the big Boom nor the ABS. Both can be added at a later date if I change my mind.

I'm actually a fan of the blacked out Special.. though I really love the idea of the TPMS. Pretty expensive upgrade however.

TPMS would be nice. Checking rear tire is a royal pain especially for someone like me with a very bad back.

One big difference CVO and Specials have stretched bags. Reg RG does not but aftermarket bags look much better than the stretched Harley bags for a 1/3 the price.

I'm pretty sure you can't add abs to the bike.
