I have a 2018 CVO Road Glide and installed the woods 22x. The bike runs great. 112hp and 130 torque. If I was to do over I would have went with the woods 777 for more horsepower.

How much seat of pants difference did you feel over stock? Was it really worth it looking back?

Funny I've been researching the same thing, not much info on cams with the CVO 117. Looking forward to hear info from those that have already changed, good call on the thread.

That's a really good question and I don't know if I can give you a good answer. I dropped my bike off at the dealer in mid Feb. and didn't pick it up for a month so it's hard for me to remember what it really had. Lets just say I had a cam done because I didn't have enough and now I'm almost satisfied. I love power and felt it was lacking stock. Got on a stock 107 a couple of months ago and it was a complete dog. I love how it idles now with a really nice lope to it. The cam I chose runs out of breath quickly but for normal everyday riding your in the sweet spot. The 777 makes 8 to 10 hp more and has almost the same torque but it's higher in the RPM . Hope this helps

There was some forums where they swapped a bunch of cams in the M8's. I think that was more of a cam comparison thread. I too have a 114, CVO FLHX. All I've done is changed the paper to K&N, bought and swapped the mufflers for some CVO Fullsac take offs, and did some tunes with TTS. Steve from Fullsac said the 114 - 2017 CVO cams were a dog. So - I just gotta decide if I should leave it alone, or consider cams. But I think I'll ride it for a season or two then make a decision. I don't know how much the Fullsac header will do.

I'll read vicariously here I guess.

The cam comparison that Fuel Moto did showed substantial power and torque gains

I spoke with those guys the other day about doing a cam for the 117 and they recommended the woods 222
