Heavy Breather Extreme Air Cleaner 19 CVO RG?
 

Has anybody tried to install the Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather Extreme Air Cleaner on a 19 CVO road glide? Part # 29400387

I ask because the parts and accessories catalog does not show it fitting the 19 CVO RG. However we all know many times the parts catalog is wrong.

HD said lowers would not go on the 18 CVO Road glide, but the fit mine just fine. The CB will not fit the 19 CVO road glide, but it works just fine in mine.

I am thinking this looks to be a very good option for an air cleaner when I build my motor. I know the stock one is too restrictive for a high HP and torque motor.

I installed mine on the 2018 RK and it makes quite the difference.

I am hoping too. Does that stick forward past the frame? How far out does it stick from the frame?

Does not go past the frame. Goes right to the middle of the frame bar.

frame bar is black. Crash bar is chrome.

Thank you for the picture. It does not look like it will work on the 2109 CVO with the lower fangs. Fang goes past the frame just a little. Fang also sticks out farther than the Fang. It will be real close if it does fit.

can you please tell me if you added the Extreme Heavy Breather to your CVO Road Glide with the Fairing Spoilers ? I am in the same situation.

Really would like to go for the extreme version, but also have the fairing spoilers.

I have not yet. Was hoping some one would try first, but I have not seen it yet. So in a month I may be trying it soon. I have ordered most all the parts to build a 130 motor. Cylinders and pistons are on the way, the 62 mm HPI Throttlebody is at the house. Heads are at shop now being ported, and new springs. So I have to do something about air filter as the stock one will not support 145 square.

Thanks for your quick reaction... I talked to my HD dealer here in The Netherlands and they think (hope) it will fit. So they ordered it to try. It is currently on backorder but expected to come in in February. As soon as I know more I will let you know here too.

I asked my dealer about the heavy breather for my street glide and they said that it wouldn’t fit because of the speaker itself. Might fit with just lower fairing but not with speaker. Just what I was told. Haven’t tried it personally. Good luck on you build. Looking forward to your results.
