Default Before I drop all that coin tomorrow...

I’m supposed to pick up a 2019 CVO Street Glide in Dark Forest tomorrow. Before I drop all that money, I’d really like to know if the new CVOs have proven reliable? I keep hearing stories of sumping, etc. Mostly hype? Thanks for any info.

Don't do anything to blow your warranty and then just ride it and don't even think about it. Obviously it happens but nobody seems to know how much...look at the bad rap the 110 got...i wonder how many of those, along with mine that are still chugging along with no issues? Go enjoy your new bike. Oh and congratulations...now we need pics.

Buy it, ride it and enjoy it. I had a ‘17 CVO Limited no issues, a ‘18 RGS no issues and a ‘19 CVO CVO RG about 2,300 miles and no issues. Total about 15,500 miles happy miles on trouble free M8 bikes.
Enjoy the new bike...

My 2017 Limited CVO has over 33,000 miles without any engine trouble. As you see I do ride it, and have had it for less than 2 years. Get it, ride it and enjoy it.

Follow the break in instructions, keep the rpm's down for that first 500 miles.

I put 21,400 trouble free miles on my 2017 CVO Street glide in 11 months.

I put 24,700 miles on my 2018 CVO Road glide. It started to sump once, but I know the symptoms, so lowered the RPM to 2500 and rode like that for 10 minutes and it cleared up. I had been riding very hard in AZ on the Devils hwy, and it was uper 90's out.

I have 4500 trouble free miles on my 19 CVO Road glide

I personally think if you are the type of rider that just wants to ride and not fool with the bike then dont modify the engine. Just get out and ride, they seem more likely to sump if they have been modified
