2018 CVO Road Glide "Kaput"
Purchased my 3rd H-D last year, Went Big, 2018 CVO Road Glide, heard all the chatter but bought it anyway. 3100 miles later, Sumped on 400 mile road trip, one qt low, extreme heat, loss of power, 100 miles on 6 gal tank of fuel... Local dealer picked up bike at hotel, 2 days on phone & email with support techs, conclusion was voided power train warranty due to unapproved tuning. Heard all the horror stories but we've been tuning & altering for years. Just an excuse to move on from the issue. Bike is currently at GMR Performance in Fort Worth Texas, Loose piston jet oilers, Bad oil pump, Seized Crank & the hits keep coming. This bike will be re-built to 128, with quality parts & competent builder. #3 is it for me.

Unfortunately, you knew about all the chatter and took a roll of the dice.
However, I know that you took your bike to Steve at GMR. He will get it right, better, and stronger then it came from the factory.
I can tell you first hand, with the 128" motor upgrade. You need to also upgrade your comp sprocket, flywheel, and transmission, etc. etc.
One of my bros did the 128" upgrade in his brand new spanking 2019 CVO Road glide. He lost two comp sprockets, ripped 2nd & 3rd gear on his first voyage with only 40 miles on the clock.
You're in great hands with Steve.

Thanks for the videos. I am not an engine expert but what I see with the oiler and the supposedly press fit bushings on the crank make you have to really question what is going on with the MoCo. It clearly seems they would rather stick their heads in the sand than actually solve a problem.
I'm lucky (so far anyway) to not have any issues. This will most likely be my LAST new Harley purchase.

If this were on a Korean of Chinese made product we'd all be hollarin' and laughin' about getting what you paid for. Straight up BS from Harley. I don't know what you are paying for, but it ain't quality control.
Best of luck with the build. Looking forward to the finished product. Start another thread explaining the build!
