2001 screamin eagle road glide probalems??

wonder if a 2001 cvo road glide with 20,000 miles would be worth 14,000? and what problems if any with the stock 95 motor? Thanks

Good enough deal.... I paid 16K for my 12,000 mile 01 SERG back in December.

No problems to report with the engine, but a lot of people claim issues with the Magnetti Marelli FI system (mine doesn't like to idle cold, but runs strong). The 95" engine comes with SE203 cams in it already, and they're a decent enough grind for a factory installed cam.

FYI, the Screamin' Eagle Road Glide production in 2001 was low as compared to the '09s... 838 built in triple gray, 849 in my color combo (blue).

Best of luck to you

My dad just turned 95K on his. They just re-built the motor about 5 months ago under warranty but other than that he hasn't had any problems. He also rides ALOT so that isn't too bad. They re-built his because he was burning oil and must have had a loss of compression becuase he had no power but now it runs stronger than ever. He paid around 16K when he bought his in 2002 with only 2500 miles on it.
