Plug ins for Electric Vest and Electric Gloves

I only see i general plug in on my 2010 CVO ultra--right on top of the tank in the middle. So if I want to plug in both vest and gloves do i have to get a "splitter?"

Also, i see a 12v plug in in the trunk. What is that for.

Thanks much, Unc John

What kind of heat gear do you have. If you got the grebing, you put a supplied harness right to the battery, plug the comtroll to that, jacket gets plugged to the dontroller and gloves plug into the wires in the sleeves of the jacket.

HD's heated jacket liner has power cords in the sleeves for gloves. With the dual thermostat you get separate control for glove and jacket liner temperatures. I plug into the battery tender pigtail.

Thank you both--I have not bought the vest and gloves yest, wanting to make sure whatever i get is easy to plug in. Sounds like it will be. Thanks again

I am not too familiar with the CVO bikes but are you sure you are not looking at the plug for the headset which interfaces your helmet with the CB and radio?

oh yeah, maybe that's right. i am new to all this. My previous bike was a heritasge that didn't have any of that stuff. I do know I have a pigtail coming off the battery.

That pigtail doming off the battery might be for a battery tender. Some dealers put these on from new, or if used, a previous owner might have put it on.

The pigtail is assuredly for a battery tender. Your heated gear will plug right in. Some HD heated clothes use a round plug. HD sells an adapter to fit your two-prong pigtail.

Before buying the vest, consider the jacket liner. I find the heated sleeves to be a real benefit.

Good point about the sleeves--thanks
