Default 2011 cvo softail convertible

I just purchased a cvo softail convertible and was wondering if there are cats in system on the head pipes
Can you just add slip ons to the exhaust

Do they make a larger winshild because I sure get alot of buffering from the stock unit
Any help would be appreciated
Mike

I have the same questions. My wife is wanting a cvo softail. She is really close to buying one, but I keep telling her that the windshield won't shield her as much as the one on her Deluxe.

Yes cats in the head pipes. And yes windshield is useless, only keeps some bugs off, not the wind.

Try Memphis Shades they make numerous windshields for the softail.

Default Large windshield + front fork air deflectors

I put a large Fat Boy windshield plus Harley chrome front fork mounted air deflectors on my 2011 FLSTSE2. Got rid of 90% of the terrible buffeting noise from the air rushing UP past the tank.
Air flow past 65 MPH on this bike is TOTALLY different than my Road King.

I like the bike, may be a bit sorry I did the buy the street glide
I have a big dog coyote so the street glide may have been a better combo
But the bike has alot of nice stuff
If I had one bike it is the ticket
Once I get tis wind problem fixed
It works without winshield
I don't like the wind buffeting from winshield
I am getting the chrome wind deflectors first
Then another Jurock replacement winshield is in order

I have a 2011 CVO Softail too and the windshield has been hanging on the wall in the garage since the second day. I know you can put a Fat Boy windshield on it but does anyone make a taller wind shield that would fit on the gay looking fairing so that you can still have music but not get hammered by that little thing they call a wind shield? No wind shield is better than what they put on it.

the cats are in the mufflers so you dont have to change head pipes unless you want to...7jurock has a windshield in several sizes to fit the stock fairing...
