Question Blacked out engine on the 2012 Road Glide Custom

Hey all, looking for some info on the 2012 FLTRXSE CVO Road Glide Custom.

How is the blacked out engine holding up on this model? I am thinking of buying one over here in the UK and would like to know what to look out for, cheers

I've read on the CVO forums about the black "hazing". just watch what you use to wash it with. Might have to wax a little more often also.

No issue with mine but only 1,200 miles on it. The RG CVO has the most torque of any CVO to date at 122 ft. lbs. It has a 200 rpm higher rev limit.

I can't find any info on where the increase came from. The big sucker breather over the ventilator might count for a couple but not that much.

I'm also curious as to what HD's reason for putting more muscle in the Road Glide CVO and not do any marketing to tell the story.

You have to read through their spec sheets to find the torque numbers.

I've noticed that too. According to MoCo's website, my sergu came off the floor with 115 ft lbs.
