Sturgis info
Needing some input. Going to head to Sturgis for the last weekend of the rally. While down there I want to change out my slip-ons for something louder. Currently have a 2012 cvo street glide with a fullsac header, fullsac 1.75" cores and a fullsac tune. I know Steve makes louder cores up to a 2.5" but I am looking for a different look then the stock mufflers. Anyway if I change out my slip-ons I am guessing I am going to need a retune. Are there good tuners at the rally and if there is do you know how much they charge?

If you really want to make this work, I would suggest the Power vision tuner. I had a similar setup and changed my mufflers out for something else. There was the usual flat spots and loss of power. After 3 "Auto Tune" sessions of 30 minutes each, my bike is running better than ever! Better than any dyno tune I had gotten from a dealer. It takes 15 minutes of time to marry it to your bike's ECU. (it will store your current tune in case you want to go back). After the muffler swap, Hook up the Power Vision, authorize auto tune, After 30 minutes of riding install the results. Do this three times and you should be golden.
OR: Buy this Power Vision tuner from Fuel Moto with the tune for your bikes specifics and mufflers you will be buying already installed on the tuner. Then just install it out in Sturgis in 15 minutes.

Which tuner are you using now? You might be able to get a new map or do a auto rune and it will adapt to the new cans. I wouldn't do a dyno from someone I couldn't take it back to if not happy after a couple of weeks and have them redo it. So I won't have work done at events. Get it done ahead of time and enjoy your vacation.

I stumbled across that Dr Dyno will be at lamphere's camp ground and see he has a good rep here.
I am currently running a master tune TTS tuner.
