I would check the plug and the wire possible bad connection or faulty. You also mention TTS might want to re-flash your map.

I don't have anything covered up. I am painting on a large cardboard from a new tv I got. Hardley any dust specs. And what I do get wet sands right out.

You gave me a thought there. Decided to try beating the stock cleve blocks out with a sledge. Turns out the right combination of sockets and extensions and elbow grease and they popped right out.

Can't you make a puller with a stud some nuts and a couple of plates and a pipe nipple (1 1/4" or 1 1'2" OD to fit the outer race of the bearing) to pull the bearing into position?

It’s one thing rebuilding an old motor with parts that have been working hard together in unison. Than adding a new part that is off spec one way or the other....
