Congrats! I've been retired for a year and my present to myself was an '18 Deluxe. Couldn't be happier. Love being able to go from a bare bike to light duty touring in 5 minutes.

I keep a small "handlebar" bag attached all the time. Big enough to keep my garage door opener, a few tools, a phone, etc. You can spend from $15 to $150 depending on what does it for you....

Replaced that sorry excuse for a horn with a pair of Fiamms. Mounted the one on the stock horn bracket and the other on a bracket I bolted on between the belt guard mounting points. BIG improvement....
