Biggest downside to going solid comp in a later bike is increased risk of scissoring the crank. The twinkies and M8's have such a high ratio in the primary gearing and enough HP output the spring...

No it isn't , FLT's didn't roll around till 1980. That's a FLH with an aftermarket Vetter fairing harley rebranded and sold under the Liberator name. From what I can see it looks to be a 73 or later...
