I would imagine it will find it's way to the lowest point in the tank. Use a siphoning tube to drain the gas and it may find its way to block the tube.

If you want a wider tire look on the bagger, try a car tire. A 185/60/16 will certainly fit. A 195 would be pretty close to the belt. Either one will look a lot fatter than a 200mm motorcycle tire.
