I got 2 sets 8" prv speakers
1st set 8mr500ndy-4 never hooked up, or mounted. Has been weather treated. $100 plus ride cont 48. Pics below.

I'll agree the 880 are a good overall lid speaker. 200 watts each and bang away. If 13 down get fkm lids. Fits 880 bit less work and better fitment. Otherwise just mock up and test fit vodoo lid...

You got a nice budget to make something work well. Just keep in mind the 8" lids will yield a decent midbass but not many choices play well under 80-90hz that work in lids.
