Cool Oil line routing on 76 FLH w/stock tank.

Restoring a 76 FLH. Need oil line routing diagram for stock oil tank. My sifton oil pump does not have the nozzle for the small line going to primary. There is a port that has a plug in it. Do I use that. My original pump had a nozzle made into the pump. Any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated.

Here ya go. If your primary is isolated you don't use the primary chain oiler (plugged) or the vacuum return line (also plugged).

Thanks that's perfect. It shows where the primary chain oiler is plugged off like mine is. Now I'm wondering why my pump doesn't have the Rear Chain Oiler with the rate adjusting screw?

Probably cuz nobody uses them anyway anymore. It's hard enough not to sling chain lube imagine the mess engine oil makes. G'luck with your project.

So if I don't use this oiling system to the primary. What can I do ? Using stock primary chain and clutch.

Here ya go...

Several here run sealed primaries (I still prefer and run the original set up). I am sure someone will chime in and tell you what type of oli to use in your enclosed system.

This looks similar to my 91 FLHTC the oil sensor isn't hooked in my pump and l want to replace the 3 oil lines from tank. The 3 lines are on the bottom of my tank. I believe the lowest one is the feed the middle one is breather and the upper one is tank return? Not quite sure if lm correct your diagram has the breather and return opposite? Possible diff for the year lm guessing? Thanks

Because nobody in their right mind would want to spray engine oil all over their swingarm and rear tire??? That's probably why aftermarket oil pumps don't have the screw. I quit using mine on my '77 when I bought it back in 1980. I also isolated my primary chain case so I wasn't pushing clutch material and chain tensioner material through my engine.
