somewhere in the shovel-evo transition they changed from horizontal to vertical screws holding the cover on. harley used an adapter piece to use the old covers - maybe you can drill three holes in that plate and use it?

Actually, Sportsters [up and down]are opposite from Big Twins.[side to side]
Edit; Except the riveted ones...which are Opposite that!!!!
Anyone know if a 3 hole clutch cover exists, and where to get ?This is a points cover its that logo I would like.
the one i remember was a steel chromed Flat plate that almost always ended up being bent because it was not thick enough, and the chrome was never as good as other things of that era
never seen a domed one made of alloy like you would want
Not a bad price for what you want. The stock points covers with the color #1 logo are $150 all day long. We used to take them off and throw 'em in the garbage. I got lucky, the one from my 1979 Ironhead was hanging on the old man's tool peg board for years, grabbed it one day and put it on my Wide Glide with rivets. Makes me happy to have it since I took it off my first bike when I was 17.
