What weight fork oil in early 80's FXWG forks

Apples and Potatoes... But, Report back please... BTW Note that "lawnmower oil" is really just straight weight oil... most suppliers have it...
Oh... and it is probably Non-Detergent..

Did you know apples and potatoes taste the same if you can’t smell? Ergo that must mean that if I don’t smell them the two oils are interchangeable 😊

Oils are... Those front ends are Not...

ive used straight 30w ...ie "lawnmower oil"in my Norton roadholders for many years with no probs...so after seeing that post on what oil for my FLH i wasnt surprised to see it recomended for a FLH front end............BTW when i gave my 1982 FLH its 3500ml service the oils that drained out of the forks were of two different colours... and im thinkin its factory oil...one green, one red...whoda thunk it ??
