Id like to convert my '77 FXE to an FLH and remember reading that later softail controls worked? Has anyone here have any info on that?

 

Any 80's & 90's softail aftermarket billet controls will work if you have the 2 hole tab on the right or brake side of the frame on the end of the front motor mount. If not you need to buy or make one up and weld it on.

 

Yep....I used the whole shootin match from a stock '86-'99 FL softtail for my FXWG. A lot of guys took off the footboards in favor of aftermarket forward controls. Put out a feeler in the "wanted" sections. I had good luck in the Horse BSC.
