I would like to change the exhaust back to an exhaust system exiting the back of the bike on either side of the back tire. It currently has drag pipes on it now.
Is true dual better or is two in one with a cross over better ? Can you explain to me the differences ? back pressure ?

 

the stock exhaust gives the rear cylinder a choice or path of least resistance being its a split to two directions for the left side muffler

true duels the pipe does a 180 to the left exhaust muffler - never seen one that the pipe was not burnt to death purple - having said that it never seemed to bother the engine

never seen one make more power then the other and i dont think < my opinion it matters what one you end up using

 

If you have true duals, all the performance guys want to sell you 2 into 1 for performance gains.

If you have combined head pipes or a crossover, they want to sell you true dual head pipes for performance gains.

Street bike, run what you like, the rest is BS. Dual head pipes will make the bike a little louder then with a crossover. So if you like the stock look but want some HD sound, it is a good choice. Good luck and we like pics.
