My bike is a 1980 FXWG undergoing a rebuild right now. I have searched the manual and can't find the torque values for the following items.

The manual does have torque specs for Fender Supports (115-130 ft lbs) and "Shock Absorber Mounting Bolts (also 115 to 130 ft lbs), but these are both marked as for FXST.

Anyway - does anyone know the correct torque values for:

Upper shock mounting studs (the ones that also hold the fender supports on)

Upper shock mounting nuts (the ones that go outboard of the top of the shock)

Lower shock mounting bolts (the large bolts that secure the bottom of the shock to the swingarm)

 

My 82 fxwg I did 40lbs of torque upper and lower with a drop of blue loctite and the upper nut 30, I use blue loctite on most of the bike...been riding for years nothing fell off......Yet

 

Thanks! I'll use that as a guide if I can't find factory specs. Kind of surprised they aren't in the manual....
