Default Popping out the exhaust on my Shovel... Help

Any thoughts as too why I'm getting this popping out my exhaust?

Also my front cylinder is hot as **** while the rear seems normal, I've checked pushrods, plugs, wires, no intake leak, exhaust and electrical connections. Push rods were a bit tight up front but after adjusting them still getting that pop.....

Thanks in advance for any info.....

Do a compression test. And check your spark.

As Ranger said, start with a compression test... What ignition are you running?

That explains the pop, It's not igniting in the jug and it's igniting in the exhaust.

Know you aren't going to like hearing this but you'll never get the carb right with hose pipes , it'll be either lean as hell or have big flat spots. Shovels don't do well with long pipes like that.

Default Nice bike

Like yours mine has the long pipes on a 75 shovel with a S&S super g installed a yost power tube helped balance out fuel to cylinders made for more performance also and my shovel hauls *** with the pipes. All in the tune. Ride Safe. Wild Bill

try opening spark plug gap. I have a Dyna tech ign using dual plugs also helps but widen gap few thousands try there. Also I use Autolite plugs 4265 and 4275
