Need to rebalance and true flywheels if cases split?
If I split my cases and change crank bearings, do I need to rebalance and true flywheels, or can I button it up without doing that?

I buy and sell in antique machines, I have a 1926 JD I had just made a deal on from a job in my shop - the title is a NJ from 1968 the guy was a friend who passed, he originally bought it back then did nothing to it but I re did it cosmetically and got it running
if you own multiple pieces and this one is special to you for what ever reason then by all means go for a complete re do - if your looking to ride it the nice weather is a better deal put it together and fire it up see what happens\ Harley engines are really farm tractors and by no means should be considered a lady |
Good answer! If i could flare a brake line, this thing would be going back together!

on the side of the road we would buy a short new brake line then cut it and add a compression fitting between the new and original and keep going down the road
