Default rocker box oil lines leaky

I've replaced all the seals at all connections. I've cleaned the threads on the brass fittings and re-seated them a few times. However once the bike gets up to temp and has been running for a bit I get oil seepage from the fittings on the heads. Is there an alternative set up to run that has more reliable connections?

Sounds like the tubing is out of round. Might just need to replace the lines.

I'll keep that in mind.

I bought a set of these for the $16

Just gonna run the top one as that's where my problem is. See if it works or not. Could be garbage.

Be careful with those... the long one should have 2 different hole sizes... the smaller goes on the block and the bigger goes on the rocker, I believe

JohnJZ or other people here would know better, just don't install them until you hear a second opinion

Every set of those I have ever seen seep oil eventually around the crimps, good luck.

OP You need to a decent thread sealant on clean non oily threads and not thread tape. Also I cut my own doughnuts out vacuum tubing, make them a hair fatter and leaks be gone.

Doesn't matter which way they go as long as one side is the restricted port.

What kind of sealant do you recommend?

Can you elaborate on that a little?

Thanks for the input. Much appreciated.

I used them in a couple of bikes and never had leaks, but that was long time ago... maybe newer stuff is substandard?
Anyway... I replace the grommets of the OEM lines every year pretty much... good call on the vacuum tubing, will try that.
what size?
Also, I always used thread tape for oil/gas, but one leak is always there!!! Will try that sealant!

each end on the long tube should have a different size hole, they should not be the same
