Default Opinion? I can't decide...

Which look I like better for my 1977 FXE, this:

or the way it came:

I go back and forth and can't decide. I like the super glide tank, which makes it look like a Sportster on steroids, but I also like the 3.5 gallon tanks which happen to be a bit more practical on rides. Anyone else have this dilemma?

I like the chopped front fender better but with the solo seat. The original tank looks better too. If it were mine it would stay as stock as possible. The tank with gauge looks a bit off.

Stock looks better. But big tank is more practical. If you ride solo, stay with small tank.

If that tank in the lower pic is a stock FXE tank (and it appears so) then it too is a 3.5 gallon tank.

I'd like to see the split tank with the LePara seat..... The SuperGlide does look more like a Sportser with the single tank. Not a huge fan of Sportsers....

It`s a Super Glide, go with the original tank.

The chopped fender in the first pic looks like it belongs on a dirt bike.

Thanks for the opinions! Im gonna go back the stock tank and fender. I actually hated the Lepera seat, so I got a little more comfy solo seat instead.

Personal choice, both tanks are 3.5 gal, my tastes always ran to the fatbobs but many a partner ran the one piece. Shovels today as close to stock you can get them the better, just not that many clean non whored out bikes around anymore.
