Carb Support Bracket

Found a nice polished stainless steel carb support bracket made by Bison. Should outlast me and still look good.
Unfortunately the nut at the base of the cylinders is so close to a push rod base bolt that I can't get a half inch wrench on the nut. Can I remove the bolt, fasten the bracket, then replace the bolt without issue? It's not as if I'm de-torquing and re-torquing a head or cylinder bolt, but I thought I'd call on the collective wisdom of the board before doing something I might regret. |
Put an open end wrench on it and twist the bolt from the other side ( end )

Thank you, Larry. I did try an open end but there is no way to slip it on the nut. It seems like I'll have to pull the bolt. Probably making a mountain out of a molehill. Just trying to avoid Homer Simpson style 'Doh'' moments.

Some of those I've had to pull the two closest bolts from the lifter base and use a crowsfoot adapter on an extension to get at that center case bolt.
Think of it like playing the old game Twister with you tools :D |
