hydraulic untis - just swap them?
Simple question - are there any issues with just swapping out hydraulic units in lifters - I've got a couple that bleed down quickly - and I have a set of good units in my tool box - any reason that they cannot be swapped? there does not appear to be any tolerances to worry about for these due to wear in the seats of the lifters as they are stationary - so I figured they could just be swapped - just to be clear - I just want to replace the hydraulic unit - not the lifter
a guy ran an Andrews A grind with the hydraulics - and it ruined the hydraulic units - at least - the exhausts both leak down as I adjust them - no waiting - sort of nice but clearly not to spec

curious if you run that A2 with hydraulics? I asked about the hyd units cause I noticed the solid inserts in my 48 pan show some wear from rubbin in the lifter - I guess this is due to the solid drop in units moving up and down a little or due to quality issues with the inserts that may have been Tedd crap - really don't like those drop in solid units - seems like they would "rock" or "shake" no matter what you do to match then to the lifter cup
