Aftemarket inner primary Ok? Bad?
I've been looking for a electric start inner primary and came across an aftermarket inner in good shape for $100.00.
I always avoid aftermarket parts if possible but am tempted to buy this part. I want to convert my kick only FX to electric start. I have the rest of the conversion.
Any experience or advise you guys have I would greatly appreciate.
Are they junk? Should I pass? Or?

most home owners do not know how to install an inner correctly so the cracking both the inner and the engine block o ring groove happens more then you might think
flea bay has them - I just ordered one off flea bay for an flh and got an fx instead so I have one PM me if interested as I am not using it on the job in the shop and its an oem fx

Some of the older aftermarket inner primaries are marginally ok...some are total junk.
Cal Products made the best aftermarket 4 speed inner primary...3 pounds heavier than stock....but they went out of business.
Rivera Primo bought them out, and was still making this heavy duty inner primary.
